Hydrogen-Oxygen Detonation

In response to the rapid growth of fuel cell technology, WHA has developed a secure facility in which to perform tests which have high-energy release potential. The primary hazard of using hydrogen and oxygen is always ignition leading to detonation. WHA has the capability to evaluate the risk of a hydrogen/oxygen explosion (either deflagration or detonation) or determine whether components can safely withstand such an event. WHA's test facility is located in New Mexico's remote high desert territory and has locations for safe high-energy release testing. Detonation and rapid decomposition testing of other fluids such as acetylene and nitrous is also available.
