High/Low Temperature Exposure

The WHA thermal conditioning test systems can subject pneumatic components to pressurized high and low temperature exposure tests at temperatures ranging from 2012°F (1100°C) to -60°F (-51°C) at pressures up to 6,000 psig. Elevated or sub-ambient temperature leakage tests are required by various compressed gas component standards such as CGA V-9 and ISO 10297.

The figure below shows a manifold for six components installed in an industrial freezer for low temperature (-60°F) exposure testing prior to low temperature leakage evaluation.

This figure below shows a valve installed for leakage evaluation at 1000°F.
