Fuel Gas Testing
WHA has the ability and expertise to perform a wide variety of tests on numerous fuel gases. WHA's engineers developed their proficiency in this type of testing at the NASA White Sands Test Facility where they provided support for the Apollo and Space Shuttle programs. Components such as pressure vessels, valves, regulators, relief valves, check valves, and flashback arrestors must be able to tolerate the hazards associated with containing fuels. WHA performs testing of components for use with hydrogen, acetylene, propane, propylene, methane, and natural gas. These tests are performed for both production qualification and in support of forensic investigations. WHA's facilities are capable of customizing tests from small scale flashback arrestor testing to large scale detonation testing.
